THAT'S hard to argue with too . . .

 

Two months into the marriage she kicked me to the couch and told me if that's where I stayed . . . fine . . .

I buckled . . .

9 years and two boys later she tries suicide as a way to get her way . . .

it is what it is . . .

If I had left early, I wouldn't have my boys . . .

Staying means . . . My boys and I deal with her forever . . .

What's the right call?

 

I would never abandon my friends just cause we got into a heated argument. The only way I could abandon someone is if they betray my trust and really hurt me. NewtonInk, no one here can tell what choice to make.

 

Then why do I feel I made the wrong one?

Gladly. I would rather stay single then for someone to use me up. And yes everyone who disagree with me is an asshole, and I refuse to marry an asshole.And if you love yourself which is the important part of life, you will not waste your time, and energy on jackass just argue

 

Unless you have not cheated on her, you made the right choice. When she threaten you with suicide you should told her "DO IT" and see what happens if she's really for real or not

Yeah,sorry it is, but suicide is a serious subject, that people should not take lightly.From what you wrote it seemed like your wife only said that to get attention, not actual help. But then again you are telling me this, and not her

 

Telling someone who has made clear an intention to commit suicide should not be goaded into doing it. Thats cold blooded.

I would encourage you to get her some help, if she is serious about commuting suicide.

The faster you get help, the faster you can bring your family to a norm life.(Depends on what you see as normal.)

If you're not interested in staying in the marriage, then divorce. Don't use your kid as an excuse to stay with her. Just saying.

 

Haha - reality check.... Make no mistake arguments will happen as it is human nature because we all come from different back grounds, upbringing and have opinions, moods etc plus men and women are programmed differently. What counts is how you handle the argument by keeping respect, using good communication, forgiving, don't take things personal and getting back on track after.

Well, good luck. I daresay you'll never find a person you won't have at least one argument with. Unless you plan on marrying someone who is in a coma.

 

And even then... "why don't you ever say you love me? You never noticed when I'd had my hair done, you never bought me flowers on my birthday... You're so damn selfish"


Jeez, if I cut people off every time I had an argument I'd be extremely lonely. I guess you're right VV, while you think like you do there is no point to you getting married or having any sort of committed relationship.
